GEORGE HUNT, DPL DIRECTOR


George Hunt is originally from Denver Colorado, having played his youth soccer, and getting his coaching started, in the Denver metro area.  George has a wealth of different experiences as a player playing at Laramie County Community College (NJCAA), Mesa State University (NCAA d2), and Grandview University (NAIA). After playing in College he went on to play for the Denver Dynamite in the PASL which turned into the Rumble of the MASL2.  He was also a part of two USSSA national championships and two US open cup qualifications. 

George has been a full-time director of coaching for 6 years working with Altitude football club in Colorado, Roanoke star of Virginia, and then Idaho Rush. George currently holds his USSF "B" License, USC "Premier" Diploma, and the USSF Grassroots instructor license. 

Outside of club soccer, he has also worked with Colorado ODP, and with Idaho ODP.  George also coached the Colorado Rovers U-23 team in the Colorado Premier League for two seasons. Lastly, George is an instructor for coaching courses with US Soccer.
